Do you want a delicious homemade breakfast without all the work? Here are 17 simple breakfast recipes that you can make ahead and freeze!
Confession: I love eating breakfast, but I don’t enjoy cooking breakfast. When I wake up I want to eat something quickly that doesn’t require any more effort than turning on the microwave or toaster.
When I prepped and froze a bunch of breakfast burritos last year it was like a light bulb went off. I could have a delicious homemade breakfast without any work in the morning.
Sure, I had to do some cooking ahead of time, but it was worth it. I set out to find a bunch of other delicious breakfasts that could be made ahead of time and frozen.
Since my crockpot and freezer cookbooks are focused on recipes that don’t require any cooking ahead of time I’m also including a bunch of recipes below that are super easy to make. Simply combine the ingredients and freeze!

Thanks Kelly. These look amazing. Now which one to try first..
Thank you Kelly. I am having a total knee replacement in less than 48 hours and will be putting many of your recipes in my freezer tomorrow to make my recovery easier (nutritious foods!) and to make my husband’s life a bit easier as he doesn’t cook much. Keep up the good work and sharing your brilliant ideas for healthy foods.
I hope your surgery goes well, Gayle. I’ll be thinking of you.
Oh I love these ideas! We are going to try two at a time and eventually will find the kids favorite here! Thank you
Hi,
Do you think I could make mini pot pies with crescent or dough & cream of something soup & the veggies, bake, then freeze them? Similar to your egg muffins?
I think they could work but I’m not sure. Thought I’d ask if you have ever made any!
Thanks!

Making and freezing granola bars is a GREAT idea since cooking often yields more than you can eat anyway. Plus, you don’t want to be overdosing on any one food for the next week. Nice tips!
