My post with 10 easy crockpot chicken and veggie recipes was such a hit that I decided to follow-up with 10 chicken and fruit recipes. I’m super excited about these recipes because I don’t normally cook fruit in my crockpot. They all sound yummy and healthy though.
Simply combine the ingredients in your crockpot with two pounds of chicken breasts and dinner is done. If you’re only cooking for one or two people, use one pound of chicken breasts and keep everything else the same.
When chicken is on sale you can even combine the ingredients raw in baggies and freeze to cook later. I like to set aside an hour on the weekend to prep meals for the coming week and these simple recipes would come together in a flash.

New to crockpot freezer meals?
- Label 10 gallon-sized plastic freezer bags with the name of the recipe, use-by date (3 months from the prep date), and cooking instructions.
- Add the fresh or frozen fruit to the bags. (This is better than adding the spices first because they can stick to the bottom of the bags.) If you use fresh fruit, remove the peels and pits and slice or dice the the large pieces.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the bags.
- Remove as much air as possible and freeze for up to three months.
When you’re ready to eat, thaw overnight in the fridge or in the morning in water. Dump the bag into the crockpot and cook on “low” for 4 hours in a 6-quart crockpot or 8 hours in a 4-quart crockpot. I use this 6-quart crockpot with a timer.
Serve with rice and a salad.

Hi, I’ve seen many offers to purchase your ebooks. What I would like to know is if you sell cookbooks that I can hold in my hand, flip through, etc. I have a lousy computer (very slow) and I don’t want to download anything on here. I also want to THANK YOU for giving away so many of your recipes to us. I’ve tried MANY and I can’t tell you how much I LOVE these crock-pot meals!! I tell everyone I know about you and how great it is to spend a few hours putting freezer meals together, and then… Read more »
Thank you so much for your kind words, Robin. I don’t sell any printed cookbooks but you are welcome to print any of the eBooks that you want. They are all formatted to print on regular 8.5×11″ computer paper.
These are really cool. You are an amazingly organized person. Can you tell me please, how many servings each individual recipe is for up above with the 10 chicken and fruit crockpot recipes.
Thanks!
Thanks, Kathi. If you use 2 pounds of chicken breasts they should have six servings.
Where do you list the measurements for each ingredient?
In the chart photo.
Thank you! This a amazing site.|
This is great – thank you! Should the chicken be diced or left whole?
Whole.
