To say “thank you” for your ongoing encouragement and support, I’m giving one lucky reader over $200 in freezer cooking essentials – including my favorite slow cooker, food chopper, baggy clips, and more!
Note: Giveaway ended 7/13/15. The winner was Kelsie H. Congrats, Kelsie! I hope you love all of your freezer cooking essentials.
During the month of June, my new Slow Cooker Freezer Meals eBook hit the shelves and thousands of people rallied around me to share their support and encouragement. I put tons of blood, sweat, and tears into writing my eBooks (figuratively, not literally) and by the time I launched the new book I thought I would be exhausted and burnt out. Instead, I emerged excited, inspired, and energized.
To show my appreciation, I put together a freezer cooking prize pack worth over $200. These are items that I personally own and love or are currently on my “wish list.” Every single item will help you prep freezer meals quickly and efficiently.
My favorite freezer meals are the ones that don’t require any cooking ahead of time – simply combine the meat, vegetables, sauces and spices, and freeze. This method of freezer cooking changed my life and inspired my three freezer cooking eBooks. There’s no easier way to make healthy, delicious, and budget-friendly food.
You don’t need any special tools to make “no-cook” freezer meals, but I hope that these prizes make it a little bit easier and for the winner to prep healthy meals quickly. These are all items that I love and I think time in the kitchen should be fun.
One lucky winner will receive over $200 in prizes, including:
- Crockpot 6-Quart Programmable ‘Cook and Carry’ Slow Cooker (my favorite slow cooker)
- Jokari Hands-Free Baggy Rack – Pack of 6 (a must-have when prepping multiple meals at once!)
- UberChef Premium Ultra Sharp Stainless Steel Vegetable Peeler (to help you make healthy meals FAST)
- Vidalia Chop Wizard (to chop all of your onions)
- Victorinox Fibrox 8-Inch Chef’s Knife – plus the Victorinox Blade Safety Cover and AccuSharp Knife Sharpener (I’m dying to buy these for myself!)
- All three of my freezer cooking eBooks (so you’ll be stocked with tons of recipes and tips)
- Avery Durable Rectangular Labels – Pack of 32 (to help you label your finished meals)
This giveaway ends Monday, July 13th at 11:59pm EST. Open to U.S. residents ages 18 and older.

Yes I have made freezer meals! I love them because they are great to take to work.

I’m also just getting started and really like it.
I have made many freezer meals over the years and was tired of the same dishes. I am very happy to have found your site and the variety of meals. It has been very easy to prepare your recipes and we have enjoyed every dish we have tried! It really helps keep us from eating out when nothing is ready and no one wants to cook. Thank you so much!
I havent tried freezer meals yet, but keep planning on it, I like the idea to not have to cook everything first. I want it for those days where I just dont feel like cooking
I’ve made them before, but I need to do it more often especially with school starting soon.
I’ve never tried or heard of this until a friend posted it on Facebook. I think it’s a great idea and can’t wait to give it a try. But first I need a crock pot 🙂
This will be my first time. I am hoping it will save some money (and time) now that we are down to one income 🙂
I make freezer meals thanks to New Leaf Wellness!!
Yes, but I would like to do it more often.
I have never prepared freezer meals before because I had heard freezer meals were too time consuming. However, after reading your blog, I feel like I can accomplish a healthy dinner plan for my family. This is definitely a healthier alternative.
I haven’t made freezer meals before but I’m anxious to give them a try! I am a teacher and I often come home starving but too tired to cook. I’d love to just pop something out of the freezer and have dinner!
I have never made freezer crock-pot meals before, but I am going to give it a try! My mom is having back surgery next week, and I want to give her as many as her freezer will hold. Hopefully they will ease the worrying of “what’s for dinner” and “I need to go to the store” so she can focus on healing. I also hope to do this for myself too since I am a teacher, and I never eat healthy dinners during the school year because I come home too tired to cook! Thank you for your excellent books… Read more »
Yes I find them very convenient.
I love freezer meals but haven’t made them in about a year.
I have made them. I love how I don’t have to think about cooking. Just put it in the crockpot and BOOM! Dinner! And the smell when you get home is so gratifying.
No I have not made freezer meals before, I want to so making healthier meals for my family will be easier and more convenient. I am unable to cook meals in the evening because of health complications. Prepping at my convenience and having meals ready to cook or throw in the crock pot would be so much better than the hamburger helper, frozen pizza and other quick meals that we are currently eating. “I commented”
You inspired me to make freezer meals! I made a bunch before my third child was born. It was a great success. Need to make another batch! Thank you!
I have never made crockpot freezer meals before. In the past few years, I have made positive changes to my lifestyle; but I have always had problems staying on a healthy track with my eating. Unfortunately, my job keeps me very busy; and the first thing to go is meal prep. As a consequence, I eat a lot of foods that are convenient, but not necessarily healthy. I’m trying to turn over a new leaf and prepare meals ahead of time so my eating can match the active lifestyle I have now adopted. My sister suggested your website, and I… Read more »
Yes! And great after a long day of work and great for kids too.
No, But I would like to start to better use leftovers.
I did a few of years ago but am looking to start again.
I have tried freezer meals in the past. I love the idea of having meals in the freezer, but i have figured out my 3 in 1 size hamilton crockpot cooks really hot and that is why my meals haven’t turned out as well. I checked it the other dwy after some research. After it was on warm for a couple hours i checked temp and it was 180…on warm. No wonder my meals have not cooked right. I bought your freezer meal cookbook bundle. I am excited to try them but am waiting until i get a new crockpot.
Thank you for your purchase, Tiffany!
Yes! With guidance from your site, I’ve made many freezer meals. I’d love to expedite the process with these handy gadgets!!
I, too, have purchased your books. I haven’t been able to try them, as my crock pot basin broke. I’m looking forward to getting a new one so my “helpfu”l 7 & 2 year old can help me ” cook cook”!

Thank you from ‘the bottom of my crock’ for all of your hard work. You have made life so much easier for so many people, thanks!
I’ve tried freezer meals but I’m not sold on them yet. I love the concept. I definitely love having a meal ready to go, but I hate wasting so many bags. Any tips/better options? I’m a germaphobe, so reusing a bag that had raw meat in it is not going to happen! I can’t get it in the trash fast enough!
Yep, I started after finding your recipes in Pinterest! Such a help to my family! Thank you.
Just learning how to freeze crockpot meals as my family is now under one roof. Tried it last week and loved it! Thank you for your recipes and instruction! Will be making it a routine. Love your site! Thank you !!!

Yes I make freeze meals. Although I am retired, I love the convenience.
I, too, am of retirement age but since I have always been a homemaker it doesn’t change my life schedule much. I have done some “once a month ” cooking before but the prep work was much more detailed than Kelly’s freezer crockpot recipes. I have purchased her cookbook bundle and I am looking forward to filling my freezer with these meals. My daughter-in-law already calls me the freezer queen! And congratulations to you and your family, Kelly, with your new addition coming in December. May God bless you and your family richly.
Thank you, Beverly!
I have made the freezer meals and finally feel like I CAN cook! What a whole revelation! Was thrilled to make them for my sister when she had newborn twins this month.
I have not done freezer cooking before but have 3 teenagers with crazy busy schedules and I like to try to keep things healthy. ‘What to make for supper’ seems to be one of those running dialogues I have in my head all day – increasing stress. I love the idea of having healthy freezer meals to pop on the crock pot before I leave for work — one less thing running around in my head to get done!!!
I haven’t tried yet but have been following your blog and can’t wait to try some of your ideas. I have twin 3 years old and I hate to cook, so this is really the perfect way for me to do dinner. I think I might have made freezer meals ages ago, but I really need to now because I have two very active boys (12 and 14) that I am constantly driving to some kind of practice. We live in the country and I need to have a way to have food ready for whoever needs to eat at whatever time. This plan looks perfect!
I have made freezer meals. They are a terrific time and money saver!
I make a few freezer meals, but I should do them more! My husband doesn’t love the crockpot, so I need to either find ones that don’t involve a slow cooker, or find ones that don’t taste like typical slow cooker food.
I haven’t tried your freezer meals or any for that matter, but I am anxious to give them a go. I just had my second daughter and will be returning to work in two weeks. I’ll need all the help I can get to make evenings go smoothly!

No, I have never made any freezer meals. My husband lost his job, causing us to lose our apartment and we had to move in with my parents, who are also struggling. Our only source of income is a Lawn Care business we started, but it’s not much; with 2 boys under 2 and no insurance it’s tough. In an attempt to help not only us but my parents financially, I’m trying to organize the house, become more frugal and the top of my list is freezer meals. As money’s tight I really do hope I win, as all this… Read more »

I have never made them before…but I am excited over your recipes and can’t wait to have a girls night and make some dinners together!!
I’ve been making freezer meals for a year now. Some are “make ahead” which I freeze in individual portions for my husband’s work lunch (they are so much more cost effective than buying lunch everyday and no weird ingredients). His co-workers ask if I cook all day, everyday to make his lunches. If they only knew! My favorites are the ones that can go from freezer to oven or crockpot.
I have not made freezer meals before. I am looking forward to trying out your recipes as I am a single mom working full time and need easy meals for the week.
Yes, I have made freezer meals. They are so easy to just put in the crockpot. It’s so great to come home from work to a great meal that’s ready to eat.

I’ve done them with Wild Tree but can’t wait to make the kinds of meals my family will enjoy instead of odd recipes that they don’t love.
I have not made freezer meals, but with the new addition to our family in August (and our new deep freezer!!) I plan to prepare several meals to cut down on prep time once baby arrives.
You bet I make freezer meals! They were a life saver after I brought home my third baby. 🙂
Yes! I’ve been making freezer meals my son’s family. They have a busy schedule with 5 month old twins and a 9 year old!
No I have not made freezer meals before but I’m excited to give it a try! I work full-time and have three kids and am exhausted when I get home. I’m also cooking- challenged! I think your methods will take the stress out of planning and cooking dinner. Thanks!!!
Yes! One of my favorite ways to cook.
Yes, freezer meals have been a lifesaver since bringing home our newborn last month! So glad I stocked the freezer beforehand.
I haven’t made freezer meals yet but am planning to start at the end of the summer as I am a working single mother of two and could definitely use the extra time!
Yes I have made them and LOVE that the whole house doesn’t get hot in the summer!!
I make freezer meals now mostly in the winter. Looking to add more recipes to the list 🙂
Yes I have made freezer meals! My family loves them. They are a great benefit to me. I have chronic migraines due to a brain tumor so there are days I do not feel up to cooking so I pull one meal out and we have a great dinner.
Yes I have a few freezer meals in my chest freezer but I am always looking for new ideas. I also am a member of a local cannery. I thisnk the more tools you have available to your family saves money and promotes healthy eating. Thank for sharing.
I haven’t made freezer meals yet but wanting to. I have a cock pot that burns the food so need new one. Have 3 children under 4 so hands full. Live in AZ so never want to use oven cause its too hot.
No, I have never made freezer meals before. I want to make dinner easier and spend less money. My family doesn’t eat until later at night, around 8 or 9. It seems almost impossible to make dinner before then, so I need to find a way to have dinner before 8 or 9. Hopefully freezer meals will help me accomplish that.
I have not made freezer meals before, but looking for a quick way to have meals done when I am on call for work and don’t feel like cooking after a long day.
I’ve made a couple and the flavors were delicious! Where I goofed up was having a weird work schedule and a crockpot without a timer so they ended up a bit dry. I’ll have to figure that out. I love how healthy they are and how nice it is to have something all ready to go for dinner when I get home at 5:30 or after.
Not sure what awaiting moderation means? And not sure where to click “I commented.” Hmmmm.
Freezer meals are great! Makes it so much easier to cook a good supper during the week!
I’m honestly just really intimidated by freezer meals. I don’t want to take the time and then have them be freezer burnt or something similar!
Just start with one, Courtney. Once you see how easy it is and how awesome it tastes, you’ll be hooked!
I’ve never done it but want to try it because it would make a busy day a much better evening.
No I have not made any freezer meals YET! I am a newlywed and I can’t wait to start making freezer meals for my husband and myself! I am also on my summer break from teaching kindergarten and it is a prefect time to get into the swing of things with freezer meals. It will come in handy on school days when I come home exhausted but would still love to have a home cooked meal from my husband and I without the hard work! I’m looking forward to trying out your recipes!!
Hi Kelly, I haven’t made freezer meals before. I love the idea of doing the preparation for the whole week in one day then just getting out what I need each night to feed the family. I really find it a chore choosing what to cook my family each night so this helps me to be organised for the week ahead. Thanks for the Fabulous ideas.
I’m totally new to this and I look forward to trying a new way to prepare healthy organic meals for my family that also saves time in our very busy lives.
Yes! I love making freezer meals. I usually grocery shop twice a month, followed by 2-3 days of food prepping. The rest of the time I don’t have to do much in terms of cooking – just dump a bag in the crockpot, or pull something down to thaw, or chop some lettuce for a salad. All that is minimal compared to fully prepping everything every day. I’m trying to convince my mom how beneficial it would be for her since she and my dad both work a lot during the week, and could really use this method. Maybe if… Read more »
I have never made freezer meals…I’ve meant just never have. Life gets in the way. I’m ready to simplify, save and enjoy good healthy food!!
I actually have made “freezer” meals for years, but not such easy ones without the cooking. This is so wonderful to know. I love those stand up things too!!

I have long been a crock pot user, but didn’t start making freezer meals until I came across your blog and tried some of your delicious recipes! They are so unique and fun to prepare. And I’ve been able to prepare meals for other families this way too! What a fantastic and very generous giveaway! Thanks!
I have NEVER made a freezer meal. Just barely started my journey to lose weight and stumbled into your blog thanks to Pinterest. Getting lots of inspiration from you! Thanks!
I have just started making freezer meals the last couple of months. and i have fallen in love with it. I tell all my friends about how easy it can be.
No, I don’t…I’m intimidated by the whole process! I’ve been wanting to try it so that we can save money and time. Also I never want to use the sad excuse to spend a fortune going out to eat. Always having a meal on the ready will keep that from happening
YES I dabble in freezer meals~ At least twice a week!
I love freezer meals because they help me feed my family AND do the homeschooling I need to do each day! Thank you New Leaf Wellness for getting me started. It has been a lifesaver.

I’ve never really made a freezer meal…I usually freeze meals AFTER making them….like leftovers! I’m not sure if that’s considered freezer meals 😉 I’d love to prep some meals for the freezer and have them ready to prepare!!
Have made freezer meals in the past and am just getting back into them. Great time and money savers.
No I have never made freezer crock pot meals. I would like to try them cause I want to cook healthier and want to be able to have a healthy meal ready for when I get home from work! I also want to save money from eating out a lot! Thank you for this great site I can refer to!
No, not yet but wanting to save time and $,
I used to go to a business where I could make freezer meals. They were expensive, but very convenient. Now, after making some healthy life changes, I’m searching for a healthy and convenient way to make sure my eating matches my new exercise lifestyle. Unfortunately, my job keeps me very busy, and the first thing that falls to the wayside is meal prep. As a consequence, I eat whatever is around and convenient (which doesn’t always mean healthy!). I’m trying to turn over a new leaf, and my sister suggested your website. I’m excited to prepare these meals…and make them… Read more »
YES! And very convenient after a long day at work! Great for kids too.
This sounds so great! I really want to do this. I still work in my senior years and am often to tired to cook when I get home.
Hi, I have never made freezer meals before. I am interested in yours because you say they do NOT taste like leftovers…while I do like to save money and feed my family as well as possible, I simply DO NOT LIKE the taste of frozen leftovers. Also, I have twin 3 year olds and a 6 year old so I am looking for ways to spend less time in the kitchen and more time playing!!! Especially during the summer evening hours right now. I actually just got on your site this morning to print a list so I could try… Read more »
Yay! I hope you love it, Dawn.
I have never done freezer cooking. A friend gave me her very used crockpot and I am trying to learn more effective ways to use.
I am so tech illiterate! I hope this is how to leave a comment on your blog! I have 7 kiddos and have run into a rut. I need to gear up and get organized before we get back into school shortly. These new gadgets look amazing and inspiring!! Thank you for all the hours you put in to bless other families.
I have made a few freezer meals but would love to start making them more regularly – especially with home schooling my three boys!
I just got started two months ago making freezer meals and it has changed my life!! I know have extra time to do other things and I’m not stressing out about making a healthy dinner for the family!! Its worth all the prepping!! Love it!
Freezer slow cooker meals are the only way my family can manage to have a healthy meal during our hectic school year schedule. Otherwise it would be sandwiches or canned soup every night. Thank you for all the great ideas – your site is awesome!
Thank you for the encouragement, Karen!
I have not frozen meals regularly yet, but it would be great to start! We have 5 growing kids & I’d like to reduce the time I spend in the kitchen overall, while providing home-cooked meals. Thanks for this giveaway opportunity! 🙂
We are leaving on vacation on Saturday to a condo in VT. I have made a bunch of your freezer meals to take with us. This way we will be able to eat healthy easy meals every night. Not only will this help with the budget, but it will also help us to eat a nourishing home cooked meal!
I’ve made freezer meals thanks to your cookbooks and I am HOOKED! Who knew there was so much good food that could be made in advance?
Yay! Aren’t they so addicting?!
I have made freezer meals on occasion (here and there as time allows), but never a big cooking session. You make it look so easy – I love how everything is laid out so nicely! Now, to actually purchase the ingredients and get to work… 🙂
Yep. Just set aside an hour and you’ll be hooked. So easy!
no I have not tried freezer meals before but would like to make things easier on me for meals for the kids as we are a very busy family
