Believe it or not, I’ve shared 31 freezer prep sessions over the last year.  During the “prep session,” all I do is combine each recipe’s meat, vegetables, sauces and spices in a plastic baggy, and freeze (It’s so easy).  Here are all of my grocery lists and recipes so you can do the same. Enjoy!

31 Freezer Meal Prep Sessions That Will Change Your Life

These freezer meal prep sessions have totally simplified our dinner routine.  I can prep a bunch of meals over the weekend and freeze them for later.  Then I don’t have to stress about cooking during the week.

Here’s why slow cooker freezer meals are a game-changer:

  • All of the recipes are easy to prep because they don’t require any cooking ahead of time.
  • The meals are cooked for the first time out of the freezer and don’t taste like leftovers at all.  Yay!
  • You can buy the ingredients in bulk and save tons of money.
  • All of the recipes are healthy and delicious.

15 Things You Need To Know About No-Cook Freezer Meals

When we’re ready to eat our freezer meals, I thaw them in the refrigerator overnight and then cook them in the crockpot.  Some of them can be cooked in an oven, pot, or microwave too.  Add a side salad and dinner is done!

This method of meal planning has worked so well for me that I’ve shared 31 freezer prep sessions over the last year!  I’m convinced that there’s no easier way to prepare healthy and delicious food for my family. Freezer meals have changed my life so much that I wrote three cookbooks about them and I know you will love them too.

Below, you will find all of my freezer meal prep sessions.  If you click each link you will find free printable recipes, grocery lists, and tips.  The average number of servings ranges from 4-6, but is listed on the printable recipe document.  I typically cook my meals in a 6-quart slow cooker because it has a timer, but these recipes will also work in a 4-quart or 7-quart slow cooker.  If you want to cut them in half, use a 2-quart or 3-quart slow cooker.

I am so exctied to give these a try! My husband and I are what I like to call “cooking challenged” and these sound easy enough for us to handle 🙂 I searched for the Italian Chicken/Beef recipe but only saw the post with the ingredients… is there an acutal recipe that you follow? My biggest pet peeve is over seasoned/salted foods so I’m actually happy to hear people saying that they are bland! It’s MUCH easier to add later if needed since you cant take it away! Everyone’s taste is different so having a starting spot is always a… Read more »

I found out a couple of weeks ago that a mom at school was going to be starting chemo for a breast cancer diagnosis. I, of course, wanted to make some meals. Just as I was about to make a bunch of casseroles (the old standbys), I saw your freezer meals on Pinterest. Divine intervention! I spent 4 hours one Sunday (I’m a little slower than you!) making a set of 6 meals for the mom and a set of 6 meals for my family. I just made 2 of each meal from one of your sessions. They are easy,… Read more »

Hi! I am so excited to try your meals. We are a busy military family. I run the house while my husband works awful and unpredictable hours. I needed some easy quick healthy meals because I have loads of housework, a toddler and a newborn to tend to!

About how long should the recipes last in a deep freezer? I saw that they last about 3 months in a standard freezer/fridge combo.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for this post. I made the seven kid friendly recipes and the 12 costco meals last week with the help of my husband and now our freezer is full and ready for the start of the school year. I appreciate so much that there are no canned soups and the ingredients are all very fresh! Have you ever considered putting together an app, similar to big oven, that has your recipes in it and had the ability to create grocery lists and prep lists? I’d so pay for that 🙂 Looking forward to seeing what you… Read more »

Hey I’m in school for computer programming, and have a 6 mo daughter… Freezer meals are a life saver! My SO is celiac so I was so so happy to see no condensed soups in the mix (subbing gf is easy but not with soups so yay for this!) ALSO Depending on your timeline with the app (and whether or not you’ll be beta testing) we should link up! This is a project I’d jump on board of to help.
